Rashid is a seasoned investment executive with over 17 years of experience in sovereign wealth management, corporate finance, and international joint ventures. He currently heads Future Fund Oman (FFO), a $5.2 billion sovereign fund under the Oman Investment Authority (OIA), leading strategic allocations aligned with Oman Vision 2040. Previously, Rashid has held senior roles across OIA, including Economic Diversification and Infrastructure Investments, managing over $20 billion in portfolios and leading major deployments and exits.
He has also chaired and served on boards of key national companies including Oman Cement and Nama Electricity Distribution and is well-connected across global investment and policy circles.

Rashid holds a BSc in International Securities, Investment & Banking and an MSc in Financial Management & International Accounting from the University of Reading, UK.
