Datuk George Taitim Tulas has been the Chief Executive Officer of Sabah Credit Corporation (SCC) since February 2019. Before assuming this role, he held several key leadership positions within the organization, including Chief Financial Officer in 2012, Head of Corporate and Training in 2007, Head of Human Resources in 2006, and Head of Information Technology in 1996.

Datuk George holds a Diploma in Computer Science from UITM Shah Alam (1983) and a Bachelor’s degree in Management Science and Computer Science from the University of Keele, UK (1987). His expertise in both Computer Science and Management Science has provided him with a solid foundation to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of finance and technology.

His career progression, from heading various departments to serving as CFO and ultimately CEO, reflects a comprehensive understanding of Sabah Credit Corporation’s operations. Under his leadership as CEO, he has introduced several initiatives to enhance governance, compliance, and digital transformation within the corporation. Notably, he has driven efforts to elevate SCC’s digital platform, improving confidence as well as service delivery to clients and stakeholders alike.
