Mr. Abdulrahman is a respected leader in the energy sector with more than 21 years of experience spanning technical, commercial, and strategic roles across the oil and gas value chain. His career has equipped him with a comprehensive perspective of the industry, covering areas such as business development, asset management, planning, finance, and marketing.

He is known for his ability to bring clarity to complex challenges and for his hands-on approach to leadership. Over the years, Mr. Abdulrahman has led diverse teams, fostered meaningful collaboration, and championed innovation—particularly in the areas of digital transformation and future-ready energy solutions.

His strength lies in his ability to work seamlessly across functions and build trusted relationships with key stakeholders, including government bodies, NOCs, and IOCs. His professionalism and commercial acumen have earned him recognition both locally and internationally.
Mr. Abdulrahman currently serves as the Chairman of Al Dhahirah Investment Company and Chief Executive Office of Integrated Gas Company. Prior to these roles, he was the Chief Executive Officer of the Oman Energy Association (OPAL). He has also held senior positions at Occidental Energy Marketing, where he served as Director of Arab Gulf Crude Oil Operations and Marketing, as well as at the Palace Office, Schlumberger Middle East, and Oman LNG.
