ADFIAP ANNUAL MEETINGS
The ADFIAP Annual Meetings is the largest gathering of CEOs, Board Members, and Senior Officials from ninety-seven (97) ADFIAP member-institutions in forty-two (42) countries and territories in Asia Pacific and beyond, as well as representatives from ADFIAP’s global institutional partners and network.
This by-invitation-only event typically focuses on operational, strategic, and policy-related matters concerning development financing institutions in the APAC region. It provides a platform for member-institutions to discuss challenges, share best practices, and collaborate on initiatives to enhance development financing. It serves as an opportunity for members and partners to learn from each other and network on matters relevant to development banking and finance. The venue rotates around in the different member-countries in the region.
Highlights of the annual event are the Annual Conference, the ADFIAP Board of Directors Meeting, the Extra-Ordinary Meeting of the General Assembly, the Delegate-meets-Delegate, and the prestigious ADFIAP Awards where member-institutions with outstanding development projects and individual achievements that contributed significantly to the development of their respective countries are honored and recognized.
This year (2025), the 48th series of the ADFIAP Annual Meetings will take place in Muscat, Oman, a city celebrated for its rich cultural heritage and modern infrastructure, from April 23-25, 2025 at the Mandarin Oriental, Shatti Al Qurum . Hosted graciously by the Development Bank, a leading institution dedicated to advancing sustainable economic growth and regional prosperity, this prestigious event will convene top global industry experts and thought leaders under the theme: “Economic Gardening and Development.”

ADFIAP Board of Directors Meeting
The 96th Board of Directors Meeting will be held on the April 24, 2025 followed by the General Assembly Meeting of all member DFIs. The Board of Directors is the executive body that makes policy decisions, with no more than 30 elected voting members; while the General Assembly is the highest body that elects the Board of Directors and votes on organizational matters.
Delegate-Meets-Delegate (DMD)
A Delegate-Meets-Delegate (DMD) session is organized to connect member-bank executives, creating a venue for networking and idea exchange.
ADFIAP Sustainable Development Awards
The 2025 ADFIAP Awards, given annually, is one of the highlights of the Annual Meetings. It recognizes member-institutions that have undertaken or assisted projects that have had positive impacts on development in areas such as the environment, small and medium enterprises, infrastructure, technology, trade, local economy, corporate governance, and corporate social responsibility. .
